Syria conflict exposes Iraq's sectarian divide

The ongoing conflict in Syria has exposed the deep sectarian loyalties that run through the region including Iraq.

The Free Iraqi Army was formed to support the Free Syrian Army, the main armed rebel group fighting to topple Syrian President Bashar al-Assad. The group wants to see an end to what it calls Shia expansion.
