Many dead as Gaza violence escalates

At least three Israelis and 11 Palestinians have been killed amid escalating violence in the Gaza strip and southern Israel.

Israreli police say more than 130 rockets have been fired into Israeli territory, as Israel carried out numerous air strikes on targets in Gaza.
