Help

Syrian rebels say they are locked in a fierce battle with government forces for control of a strategically important military base.

The attack on the airbase at Taftanaz, just southwest of Aleppo in the north of the country, is aimed at hampering the regime's use of airpower to bomb rebel positions.

Peter Biles reports.
