US government says Russia 'morally bankrupt' over Syria
The US government has accused Russia of pursuing a "morally bankrupt" policy in Syria.
It comes after Turkey intercepted a Syria-bound plane which was reportedly carrying Russian radar equipment.
US State Department spokeswoman Victoria Nuland accepted the aircraft was carrying parts legally, but said the policy was "still morally bankrupt".
