'Business as usual' in Damascus despite shelling
The neighbourhood of Midan has long been the liveliest and most popular in Damascus, and despite heavy shelling it is business as usual.
It was the first in the area to see protesters take to the streets against Assad, but in recent weeks it is the government's forces which have moved in with strength.
