Help

Pope Benedict has called for the "fundamental right" of religious freedom to be observed in the Middle East during a speech on the second day of his visit to Lebanon.

He was addressing an audience of government officials, foreign diplomats and religious leaders at the presidential palace in Beirut during the first papal visit to the country in 15 years.

Jim Muir reports from Beirut.
