London 2012: Afghan bid for Paralympic glory
More than 4,000 Paralympic athletes have begun arriving in London ahead of Wednesday's opening ceremony.
Among them are many who have been injured in conflicts around the world.
There is one athlete from Afghanistan, a country where thousands of civilians are hurt in attacks and land mines each year.
