Syria government helicopter 'shot down'

Armed rebels in Syria say they have shot down a military helicopter over the capital, Damascus.

Unverified amateur footage posted online shows an aircraft plummeting towards the ground in flames before disappearing, followed by plumes of black smoke.

State television said a helicopter had come down in Qabun, but did not say what had caused the crash.
