Syrian forces hit fourth Damascus suburb in three days
In Syria, opposition activists say at least 40 people have been killed in attacks by government forces in and around the capital, Damascus.
At least 15 people are said to have died when the army sent tanks and troops into Darayya, south west of Damascus. Unverified pictures show the scale of the bombardment.
Barbara Plett, reporting from Beirut in neighbouring Lebanon, says soldiers are reported to be conducting house-to-house raids leaving casualties in their wake.
