British hostage John Cantlie feared beheading in Syria

A British journalist who was kidnapped by Islamic militants in Syria last month has said that between "10 and 15" of his captors were British.

John Cantlie was handcuffed and blindfolded for a week, but escaped with help from the Free Syrian Army.

He told the BBC his captors said he would be beheaded.
