Syria conflict: Battle rages for Aleppo
Syria's foreign minister has warned that the whole Middle East region will become unstable if rebel fighters are able to defeat the government of President Bashar al-Assad.
The army has continued to pound rebel strongholds in Aleppo, raising fears about civilian casualties in the city of more than two million people.
