Syria crisis: People in Damascus face long wait for food

The unrest in Syria has left many people displaced. The Syrian Arab Red Crescent estimates that there are 1.5 million homeless people inside the country.

However, the crisis has another face in big cities like the capital Damascus, where people are experiencing difficulties to buy basic amenities as prices soar.

BBC Arabic filmed these queues for bread on Sunday.
