Syria: Thousands flee Damascus as fighting intensifies
The UN says tens of thousands of Syrians have been crossing the country's borders into neighbouring countries over the past 48 hours as fighting intensifies.
There have been intense clashes between rebel groups and government forces in the capital, Damascus, with the military "cleaning" the area of Midan of "terrorists", according to state media.
Meanwhile, a fourth aide of Syrian President Assad has died after being badly injured in a bombing attack in the city on Wednesday.
Wyre Davies reports from the Turkish-Syrian border.
