Kofi Annan holds key Syria talks with Vladimir Putin
As the fighting escalated in the Syrian capital Damascus, UN envoy Kofi Annan held talks with the Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow.
The talks come just a day before Western powers plan to hold a vote on a UN resolution that threatens further sanctions against Damascus.
