UN warns of unprecedented violence in Syria
The United Nations has warned of unprecedented violence in Syria unless there is a negotiated solution.
The UN deputy envoy for Syria, Jean-Marie Guehenno, told the BBC that an agreement on political transition signed in Geneva by Security Council members was only a start and a long process of negotiation would follow.
