Army end Taliban insurgent attack on hotel near Kabul
Afghan forces have killed the last of a group of heavily-armed Taliban insurgents who attacked a lake-side hotel.
Fifteen civilians, three security guards and a police officer are dead after twelve hours of fighting, near the Afghan capital Kabul.
The assault started late on Thursday as a group of Afghan families were gathering for a party at the hotel on Lake Qargha.
