With signs the fighting is intensifying in Syria, a United Nations report has accused the Syrian government of torturing children.

Thousands of Syrians are fleeing the violence to refugee camps across the border in places like Jordan.

The head of UN peacekeeping, Herve Ladsous, has said it is now a civil war refugees are fleeing from.
