William Hague: UN has failed on Syria

The UN has so far failed in relation to the crisis in Syria, but must not stop making efforts to try and end the bloodshed, British Foreign Secretary William Hague has said.

Speaking ahead of a meeting he is hosting at the Security Council, Mr Hague said "straight talking" was needed to agree a resolution calling for humanitarian access and an end to violence.
