Violent protests are taking place in three provinces in Afghanistan, for the fifth day in a row.

People are demonstrating against the burning of copies of the Koran, by American soldiers.

More than 20 people have been killed since the trouble began on Tuesday.

Nato-led foreign forces say two of their members have been shot dead inside the interior ministry in the capital, Kabul.

Part of a UN compound in the city of Kunduz has also been set alight.

The BBC's correspondent Orla Guerin reports from Kabul.
