Syria: 'The worst bombardment in Homs'
The United Nations Secretary General, Ban Ki-Moon, has said the Security Council's failure to take action on Syria has encouraged the Government in its war against its own people.
Mr Ban said the Arab League planned to revive its mission to Syria.
People living in the city of Homs have endured another day of intense shelling by government forces, as the BBC's Paul Wood reports.
