Libyan diplomat's son speaks about father's 'torture'

The Libyan authorities are being urged to investigate the death of a former ambassador, who was detained by an armed militia group in Tripoli.

The organisation, Human Rights Watch, says it believes Omar Brebesh was tortured to death.

The government has promised to investigate allegations of torture in many of the detention centres being run by the militias around the country and some prisons have been handed over to the justice ministry.

The BBC's Jonathan Head has been speaking to Mr Brebesh's son, Bashir, in Tripoli.
