Help

Iran's ministry of roads and traffic has introduced a new set of heavier fines to reduce the number of road accidents in the country.

According to a survey conducted by the World Health Organisation in 2010 - Iran ranks 11th in the world in road traffic injuries.

Among the list of heavier driving-crime-fines are offences such as driving on pavements or under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
