Fresh clashes hit Cairo's Tahrir Square
Clashes have again erupted in the Egyptian capital as security forces continue their efforts to clear Cairo's Tahrir Square of protesters.
The health ministry confirmed the number of deaths since the protests began on Saturday had reached more than 30, while 1,750 people have been injured.
Protesters fear the interim military government is trying to retain its grip on power, despite parliamentary elections planned to begin next week.
Jon Leyne reports from Cairo.
