BBC journalist Shaimaa Khalil released in Cairo

BBC producer Shaimaa Khalil, who was detained in Cairo's Tahrir Square on Friday, has been released.

The circumstances of her detention on Monday remain unclear, but it came as soldiers, backed by riot police, moved in to clear protesters.

Jon Leyne, who works closely with Ms Khalil in Egypt, explained what happened.
