Handover marks 'new chapter' for Iraq
US Vice-President Joe Biden has spoken at a ceremony marking the end of US combat operations in Iraq.
Speaking in Baghdad, Mr Biden formally declared the end of US combat operations, but went on to confirm that the American engagement in Iraq would continue with "Operation New Dawn".
A ceremonial handover between outgoing US military commander Gen Raymond Odierno and Gen Lloyd Austin took place.
