Israel troops 'on own side of border' in Lebanon clash

Israeli soldiers were on their side of the border when fierce fighting broke out with Lebanese troops on Tuesday, the UN has said.

An Israeli officer, two Lebanese soldiers and a journalist were killed after Israeli troops tried to cut down a tree that both sides claimed was in their territory.
