Anti-government protest in Haiti turns violent

More than 1000 people in Haiti have taken to the streets in protest against the government of President Michel Martelly.

President Martelly has been marking his third anniversary in power with a street party.

Clashes broke out in the Haitian capital Port-au-Prince when demonstrators were blocked from marching to the celebrations.
