Police bases set on fire in Rio favela attacks

At least three police posts have been attacked by suspected criminals in Rio de Janeiro's shanty towns.

Cars and metal containers used as bases by so-called Pacifying Police Units - or UPPs - were set on fire in a challenge to the security policy which aims to drive out drug gangs from Rio's favelas ahead of the upcoming World Cup.
