Rio Carnival pays tribute to football as samba meets soccer

The annual Rio Carnival is in full swing and one samba school is exploring the link between Brazil's two favourite pastimes: carnival and football.

With the Word Cup only 100 days away Brazilians are gearing themselves up for the event despite unease at the cost of staging it.

Julia Carneiro reports from Rio at a carnival that gives a taste of this summer's global event.
