Brazil protests: Sao Paulo bus station attacked

26 October 2013 Last updated at 09:41 BST

At least six people have been arrested after hundreds of protesters stormed a bus station in Sao Paulo, setting fire to a bus and destroying cash and ticket machines.

The protesters are angry about high public transport costs and want services to be free.

The protest began with a march through the city that lasted about three hours, but police say the violence began when a section of the crowd broke off to attack the bus terminal.
