Colombia 'welcomes' Starbucks coffee

The world's biggest coffee shop chain plans to open its first cafe in Colombia in 2014 - after exporting beans from the South American country for more than four decades.

Starbucks is often criticised for setting up shop on every corner and pushing out smaller businesses but when the java giant announced that it would open stores in coffee producing Colombia, local cafes welcomed the news.
