26 June 2013 Last updated at 03:59 BST

Protests have continued in Brazil's biggest city, Sao Paulo, one day after President Dilma Rousseff proposed what she called "five pacts" meant to reduce unrest.

A crowd of more than 500 people blocked one of the key highways into Sao Paulo for several hours on Tuesday, causing major disruption for commuters.

Sarah Rainsford reports from the demonstration.
