Rios Montt genocide case stirs Guatemala tensions

The former military leader of Guatemala, Efrain Rios Montt, scored a victory this week in the long-running genocide case against him.

Just days after he was sentenced to 80 years in prison, the decision was overturned by a higher court.

More than 200,000 people were killed in the Guatemalan civil war between the army and left-wing guerrillas.
