Thousands of turtles released into Bolivian river

Help

More than 120,000 baby turtles have been released in to a river in Bolivia in an attempt to boost the area's turtle population.

The turtles - which can reach up to a metre in length - have been extensively hunted for their meat and eggs.

Bill Turnbull and Susannah Reid report.
