Hurricane Sandy death toll in Cuba rises
Hurricane Sandy has claimed several lives in Cuba and left a trail of destruction in its wake in Jamaica and in Haiti.
The hurricane is now sweeping across the Bahamas and American forecasters are warning much of the US east coast could soon be hit.
Flooding, heavy rains and high winds are expected in Florida.
The BBC's Will Grant, in Cuba, said some of the deaths could have been avoided.
