Haiti cholera outbreak 'came from UN base'
An outbreak of cholera in Haiti which started two years ago did come from a UN base housing Nepalese peacekeepers, new evidence suggests.
Research has found that the strain of the disease on the island is identical to that common in Nepal where the UN troops were from.
