Cuba to end exit permits for residents travelling abroad
Cuba will allow residents to leave the country without needing an exit permit after the government relaxed restrictions for residents.
For more than half a century Cubans had to be given official permission to leave but from mid-January residents will only need an updated passport and a visa.
