Rio's Christ the Redeemer statue turns pink for breast cancer charity
The famous Christ the Redeemer statue in Rio de Janeiro has been bathed in pink lights to mark Breast Cancer Awareness month.
Illuminating the statue is just one of several events planned in the country this October, as Brazilian health workers try to draw attention to breast cancer and encourage women to get regular mammograms.
