Nicaragua taxi drivers and riot police in violent clashes
Violent clashes erupted in the Nicaraguan capital Managua between taxi drivers and riot police.
Protesters had taken to the streets of the capital to call on the government to provide greater fuel subsidies and ban cheap motor taxis from operating.
