Chilean children are taught to stay safe in earthquakes


Chilean authorities have organised earthquake simulations in an attempt to increase the population's disaster preparedness.

School children are placed in shaking rooms, and taught how to stay safe in the event of a quake.

Chile is one of the most earthquake-prone countries in the world.
