Guatemala's Fuego volcano spews ash
Guatemala's Fuego volcano spewed lava and plumes of ash into the air on Monday.
Local media said although no evacuations have been ordered.
Aviation officials have been warned that the ash clouds could disrupt air traffic.
The volcano overlooks the central Guatemalan tourist city of Antigua, and is one of the region's most active volcanoes.
