Pedestrians celebrate traffic-free day in Bolivia
Bolivians in La Paz have marked the second annual Day of the Pedestrian and Cyclist.
The event sees motor vehicles banned and a festival atmosphere descend on streets normally packed with traffic.
It is hoped the event will raise environmental awareness among Bolivians as well encourage people to explore alternative modes of transport.
Tom Bayly reports.
