Mexico shelters migrants travelling to the US
A new shelter offering undocumented migrants heading for the United States a place to rest and recover during their journey has opened in Huehuetoca, near Mexico City.
Similar shelters have been shut down in recent months after neighbours and local authorities complained they encouraged crime, but activists say the migrants from South and Central America need protection from the many dangers they face on their journey.
Maria Eugenia Dupin reports.
