Jamaica expectations sky high for medals in the 100m
The fastest men in the world are set to race in the 100m final.
Signs are that the track itself is very quick and that Usain Bolt's world record of 9.58 seconds is under threat, mainly from his fellow Jamaicans.
Following the triumph of Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce in the women's 100m final, expectations in Jamaica are sky high.
The BBC's Nick Davis reports from Kingston.
