Cuba art festival transforms Havana

The Havana Bienal has begun in Cuba, a contemporary art event that's been bringing artists together since 1984.

The exhibition lasts a month and attracts visitors mainly from Latin America.

It takes place in venues all over the Cuban capital - but this year, the organisers have made a special effort to bring the art out of the galleries and onto the streets.

That has turned the city's iconic seafront into a giant open-air gallery, as the BBC's Sarah Rainsford reports.
