Rare glimpse of isolated Peruvian tribe

Help

Rare photos of an isolated tribe living in the Amazon region of south-eastern Peru have been released.

The British-based Survival International group says the indigenous Mashco-Piro tribe has rarely been in contact with the outside world.

'Uncontacted' people are those who live without significant contact with other civilizations.

Tom Santorelli reports.
