Ancient Mexican spirit, Pulque, back in fashion

Help

After years of oblivion, the once popular alcoholic drink called pulque is back in fashion in Mexico.

The slimy milk-coloured drink is made from agave, the same plant from which tequila derives.

The trend has seen an estimated 50 bars across Mexico City dedicated to pulque.

Liliet Heredero reports.
