Fidel Castro has addressed a rally for the first time since handing the Cuban presidency to his brother Raul in 2006.

Some 10,000 people gathered to hear his speech at Havana University where Mr Castro warned of nuclear war arising from the dispute that has pitted the United States and Israel against Iran.

The BBC's Michael Voss reports.
