Man charged over St Helier disturbance

A man has been charged with the indecent assault of a woman following a disturbance in St Helier on Saturday night.

The 26-year-old has also been charged with assaulting a police officer, malicious damage and conduct likely to cause breach of the peace.

Police had appealed for witnesses following the incident around Snow Hill Car Park and Hill St.

The 26 year-old will appear before Jersey Magistrates Court on Wednesday.
