Support for abuse witnesses in Jersey Care Inquiry
Victims giving evidence to the Jersey Care Inquiry will be given "emotional support", the panel has said.
The £6m inquiry is investigating reports of abuse in the island's children's homes and fostering services from 1960 to the present day.
Evidence was heard from experts last week and former residents are due to start offering evidence from Tuesday.
Support will be available from Victim Support Northern Ireland, chosen because of its distance from Jersey.
Witnesses who wish to speak to someone in Jersey are being encouraged to contact Victim Support Jersey.
"Every effort has been made to ensure that sufficient emotional support is available for all witnesses," an inquiry spokesman said.
The panel is still appealing for witnesses to come forward.
